I now know how it feels like to be blinded by the paparazzi. And all I did was keep track of the endless stream of blings that was paraded around during the SAG 2008 and the more recent Golden Globes. Ok, ok. I’m exaggerating quite a bit, being one with a flare for drama. That’s why I feel like all the silver and diamonds seem to have left a permanent twinkle to my eyes.Or is it a twinkle of anticipation? After watching the living goddesses J.Lo and Beyonce on the Red Carpet decked with a combined total of more or less 2.5 million dollars worth of Lorraine Schwartz’s jewels, I can’t wait to check out similar items for under $100! So if you’re a damsel in distress when it comes to owning multi-million worth of gems, just look for similar and equally fantastic pieces.

Remember, Jennifer Lopez had on:

a yellow brushed gold cuff
a canary emerald cut diamond platinum ring totaling 30 carats for two million dollars
ten plus carats of yellow diamonds in a pair of crushed gold chandelier earrings worth $110,000
a yellow gold rose cut diamond ring

While Beyonce Knowles was adorned with:

an antique ivory and natural color diamond cuff worth $120,000
a pair of 40 carat natural iridescent diamond earrings worth $195,000
a 20 carat, grey and yellow diamond cocktail ring worth $90,000

Oh and one more thing. Christina Applegate was stunning without being too flamboyant at the SAG 2008. She had on a gorgeous Elie Saab with Neil Lane studs that glinted glamorously without overpowering her gown or her beautiful face. It would be great to have a pair that has an uncanny resemblance to Miss Applegate’s studs.
