It’s a fact of life. Tinseltown’s little pop tarts have a way of going wayward when they reach legal age - Britney Spears have gone completely insane; Lindsay Lohan is a drunk. That’s why it’s always so refreshing to find someone who hasn’t gone over to the darker side of fame. Such a person is Hillary Duff.

When you really think about it, have you ever heard of anything even remotely negative about Hillary? Why, the most negative publicity she’s ever had was when she was recently accused of lip-synching in her concert in Mexico, which has since been cleared up as no more than a technical glitch - a misunderstanding that greatly affected the young singer/actress, nonetheless. After all, she has to be one of the very few musicians that truly takes her music seriously, even more seriously than her acting.

She looks the part, too. In the recent 2007 Fox Teen Choice Awards, she proved that ladies can rock and dazzled audiences in a 2.44-carat pair of hoop earrings and a napkin ring cuff, both in sterling silver and pave, from David Yurman’s Silver Ice collection. Indeed, though the glam-rock look is slightly overrated, it can still make waves with the right “wearer.” Yurman’s signature thick cable jewelry of twisted silver ropes seem to be just perfect for Hillary.

It’s a great look to have for those casual events, or a night out dancing with the ladies. You can look resplendent all night with a pair of sterling silver single cable hoop earrings. Top it off with a round dome-tip cable bangle that you can get away with wearing every day, also in sterling silver.
